Welcome to Mrs. Tippetts' Classroom Blog
Dear Parents,
I am looking forward to being your child's teacher this year. Kindergarten is a big step in their development and I am grateful to be a part of it. I love my students and I look forward to getting to know them. It is important to me to help them each achieve all they can through their best effort this year. We will have fun learning letter names and sounds, writing and understanding numbers, and working on important reading skills. It is also important to me to help students develop socially responsible traits. Each week I will post our social awareness lesson so you can know which trait is our focus that week. Please create a short post telling me something interesting about your child before the first day of class so I can get to know them better. Also, please look at the tab for our classroom expectations.Check out our blog often to see what we are up to each week. As far as posting on our blog, please only post positive comments and appropriate pictures from school such as parties, projects or artwork.
